POSITION CONCEPT
The Fleet Systems & Compliance Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs (M5) and work processes that support and improve the Fleet Services organization. Monitors results relative to operations and compliance; prepares critical statistics, business plans and analytical reports of all manners to assist and enable educated business decisions by management. Prepares and provides data on fleet mobile equipment for retirement and replacement. Demonstrate proficient technical knowledge in addition to strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer Asset Works M5 Fleet Management System: user accounts/access, modules, data, and reports. Maintain Tampa Electric vehicle fleet inventory database of vehicles in the Fleet Management System (life cycle of the vehicles). Develop work processes that achieve the gathering of relevant data for decision makers in organization. Build dashboards that reflect relevant data to mechanics, supervisors, managers and admins. Maintain data integrity and work with Fleet technical specialists to ensure data is entered into the system accurately and following guidelines. Perform detailed data for replacement analysis of all fleet vehicles. Perform ad-hoc replacement research and analysis as required.
Administer the mobile equipment telematics system to locate and monitor vehicle locations, driver behavior, speeding, idling, aggressive driving, accident re-creation, and vehicle utilization on a mix of heavy vehicles, light vehicles, off-road equipment, trailers, and assets. Research, analyze and recommend new technologies and future equipment opportunities.
Migrate data between different software applications, tables and databases. Develop computer programs and database queries to verify the integrity of the Fleet Services data and to prepare critical statistics and analytical reports for use in management analysis and department decision making. Perform research, evaluations and special projects related to business operations, such as cost-benefit analysis, and analysis of business efficiencies and process/procedural effectiveness.

Internal: Communications with internal customers will be significant; Interacts regularly with all levels of management, administrative and operations team members
External: Communication with suppliers and contractors will be frequent, often functioning as a facilitator and/or decision maker.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business or Accounting.
Experience:
Required: 4 years related experience in fleet management software and/or business analysis.
Preferred: Information Technology and M5 experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Required: Must have a balance of strong technical and business analysis skills. Extensive skills in vehicle/fleet management and business process analysis required. Expert skills in the use of Excel and Access, including SQL knowledge and Access programming, Oracle SQL. strong skills in Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint are required.
Requires above average skills in teamwork, planning and organizing, customer service orientation, oral and written communication, attention to detail and initiative.
Preferred: Understand and measure KPIs and design M5 dashboards.

WORK CONDITIONS
