Leveraging leading-edge technology, our Information Technology (IT) department supports the enterprise through a variety of strategic solutions. Our IT professionals design, develop, operate, and maintain the systems and equipment that provide greater business efficiency, optimal data security and privacy and deliver energy services. Our IT department supports the operations of Tampa Electric and our sister companies Peoples Gas and New Mexico Gas Company, altogether servicing 1.5 million customers in Florida[CS1]  and New Mexico.  As we continually look for new ways to leverage technology to increase productivity and performance, we seek top talent at all levels of IT, where expertise and out-of-the-box thinking meet our technology and organizational needs.
