The Regulatory Coordination team prepares and ensures the accurate and timely filing of all official regulatory documents, Responsibilities include communicating, coordinating, and filing periodic and annual documents with regulatory agencies; monitoring and communicating regulatory activities and docket. Assisting with regulatory research, involving reviewing legal filings for proposed rulemaking and compliance issues required by regulatory agencies.
Senior Regulatory Coordinator — Lead Through Expertise

What You’ll Do
- Lead complex and high‑visibility regulatory filings and submissions
- Serve as a subject matter expert and primary liaison to internal leaders, legal counsel, and regulatory agencies
- Administer and optimize regulatory case management systems and department software
- Provide advanced regulatory research, analysis, and fact‑checking for senior leadership
- Mentor and guide Regulatory Coordinator I and II team members
- Identify opportunities to improve regulatory processes, tools, and data quality requirements
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- Florida Notary Public (required)
- Minimum of 3 years as a Regulatory Coordinator II or 7+ years in related regulatory administration area performing similar duties of increasing complexity
- Must exhibit strong knowledge and understanding of utility operations, general business procedures and regulatory agency functions in order to perform role independently and provide sound guidance related to regulatory filings.
- Must demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of the reporting requirements for utility retail and federal tariffs, as well as Florida administrative code rules.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Visual Basic, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat Professional, and in federal regulatory software required. TariffShark or similar utility software to meet federal regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Coordination Lead — Drive Strategy & Oversight

What You’ll Do
- Oversee the accurate and timely submission of all regulatory filings across assigned entities
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for regulatory coordination processes and outcomes
- Partner closely with leadership, legal counsel, and external regulators on complex matters
- Provide guidance and direction to the Regulatory Coordination team
- Maintain and enhance regulatory systems, tools, and reporting capabilities
- Support major initiatives such as rate cases, audits, and regulatory proceedings
Requirements (Lead)
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 years’ related experience including work in regulatory administration areas, such as regulatory agencies or law firms.
- Extensive experience in regulatory coordination, utility regulation, or legal/regulatory environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex work and guide others
- Strong understanding of utility operations, regulatory agency functions, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders and external stakeholders
- Strong knowledge and understanding of utility operations, general business procedures, and regulatory agency functions to perform independently.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the reporting requirements for utility retail and federal tariffs and Florida administrative code rules.
- Above-average proficiency in MS Word and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Incident Response Assignment
Our community relies on Peoples Gas to respond swiftly and effectively to all types of incidents, including but not limited to major storm events (e.g., extreme cold, tropical storms, hurricanes), gas leaks, equipment failures, environmental hazards, and other emergencies that may impact public safety or service continuity.
Peoples Gas depends on each team member to fulfill their primary and/or alternate roles and responsibilities during such incidents. As a Team Member of Peoples Gas, you will be assigned an Incident Response Assignment, receive training related to your role, and may participate in mock drills or exercises simulating various emergency scenarios.
