Utility Technician Apprentice Program
This entry level 18-month paid Apprentice program happens one to two times a year and it’s a great opportunity for prospective team members who have minimal to no experience in the natural gas industry. Prospective Apprentices attend formal and on-the-job training to learn how to effectively and efficiently perform the duties of a gas Utility Technician with the ability to advance to senior level positions in their career.

MEET BRANDON
Brandon, a Central Florida native, started as an apprentice and is now a construction supervisor overseeing pipeline work in Daytona, Eustis, and Ocala. Inspired by his grandfather’s legacy, he takes pride in ensuring the safety of our natural gas infrastructure.
MEET SERGIO
As a South Florida native and regional manager of external affairs, Sergio works closely with local stakeholders to help provide safe natural gas service and marks 25 years with Peoples Gas.
MEET JAMMAL
Jammal, a proud South Florida native, has grown his career at Peoples Gas for over 13 years, advancing to safety supervisor with help from our tuition assistance program. In his role, he helps protects our natural gas infrastructure, team members, and the public.
