HOW YOU’LL HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS:
The Program Manager - Energy Partners collaborates cross functionally to develop, implement, and execute new and existing programs and services, in support of retaining and adding gas load for Peoples Gas and driving new sources of revenue. Assists with the development and management of third-party industry networks including equipment distributors, manufacturers, and installation and service contractors to support growth for Peoples Gas and TECO Partners. Work closely with Technical Sales Support team members to facilitate partner agreements, meeting licensing, certification and training requirements, program communication across the third-party network. Provides technical assistance and support for end-use equipment utilization and customer needs and program administration.
    
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 
•    Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field
•    3 years of direct work experience in energy, contractor, manufacturer or similar field.
•    In lieu of Associates degree, an additional 2 years of related experience in the energy, contractor, manufacturer or similar field may be considered.
•    Proficient in sales ability, strong persuasion skills, seasoned negotiation skills, and presentation skills.  Demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team or independently.  Strong verbal/written communication skills.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. 

 

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITVE EDGE:
•    Experience in energy, dealer, manufacturer or similar field.  
•    Experience in development of customer related programs and services.
•    Experience in the energy, dealer, manufacturer or similar field. Natural gas sales experience and sales training skills. Knowledge of TECO products, services and the energy industry, revenue projects and billing. Knowledge of the propane and gas marketing industries.  Basic understanding of the business operations of various customer markets. Basic understanding of natural and propane products and their installation.

•    Office environment with travel throughout our service territories and beyond as needed. Some overnight travel required.

STORM DUTY REQUIREMENTS

TECO Energy and its companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency. Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our TECO Energy customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures.
