HOW WILL YOU HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS? 
The Data Support Analyst focuses on the profitability and performance of TECO Partners programs with emphasis on rebate processing services; interacts directly with vendors, service providers, and other internal/external stakeholders across multiple customer segments, ensuring effective communication and exchange of information.  Provides rebate, commissions, customer payment, and invoice processing services through effective cross department collaboration. Provides data support for KPI reporting and ad hoc analysis. Works under minimal supervision.


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, Finance, or other related field
  • 3 years of related market research, customer service, sales administration, or other related experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor, document, and maintain data sources relevant to customer programs and services.  Identify, update, and resolve discrepancies within data sources, and ensure all required data is accurately collected and project goals and objectives are met. Identify, develop, test, and implement necessary modifications and enhancements related to rebate processing services.  
  • Administer the sales commission process utilizing BI Reports, ad-hoc queries, and third-party marketer reports for analysis to support commission. Compile, summarize, and analyze commission information for commission policy compliance, sales analysis, and annual internal and external audits 
  • Develops and maintains business relationships with suppliers/vendors, other utilities, business partners, and all other appropriate key stakeholders to foster long term partnerships and to ensure successful execution of rebate processing sales and PGS & TPI marketing strategies.  
  • Develop, analyze, and report key insights related to customer product and or service parameters in TPI programs.  Audit, report, and perform analyses to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and accountability of all rebate offerings for conservation efforts and other revenue generating TPI customer programs. 
  • Collaborate, analyze, and continually improve business processes by identifying opportunities, and supporting the implementation of technology improvements. Communicates and assists in training the resulting changes to impacted team members and external clients. 
  • Lead administrative responsibilities including investigating and resolving customer issues and correcting billing inaccuracies and discrepancies. Create and maintain strong documentation for audit. Set up purchase orders and requisitions in SAP to pay vendors; track and store all rebate processing related purchase orders or invoices for department.  

 

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE? 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing, Finance or other related field
  • Experience with Salesforce or Infor CRM and PowerBi. Knowledge and experience in tariff analysis and review. Familiarity of gas and electric utility rebate programs, commercial kitchen appliances, lighting and HVAC equipment.
  • Knowledge and expertise in the areas of residential and commercial energy programs and services industry 
  • Knowledge of utility rebate tracking and processing. 
  • Knowledge of North American utility PGA and conservation measures

STORM DUTY REQUIREMENTS
TECO Energy and its companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency. Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our TECO Energy customers.
