HOW WILL YOU HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS?
The Manager of Business Innovation leads the team in enhancing company operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and create greater value for customers. This role involves identifying opportunities for process improvement, driving and implementing changes, and fostering a culture where everyone is empowered to solve problems and innovate. The manager encourages the business to adopt new ways of thinking and promotes a broader culture of creativity and problem-solving.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Drive Operational Excellence
- Identify inefficiencies and lead high-impact improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate value stream mapping and process workshops.
- Align initiatives with strategic goals and measurable performance metrics.
- Develop practical tools and frameworks that empower teams to solve problems.
- Partner across departments to remove barriers and improve speed, safety, cost, and customer outcomes.
Lead Transformation & Change
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
- Design and execute change strategies that increase engagement and adoption.
- Build organizational capability by equipping leaders and teams with problem-solving tools.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAD
- Direct reports: 1 Business Innovation Consultant, 2 Business Innovation Leads
- Cross-functional teams across the organization
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years in business innovation, operational excellence, or change management
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Proven success leading large, complex initiatives
- Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, PROSCI, or similar certification (or ability to obtain within one year)
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Ability to influence across all levels and lead through change confidently
Preferred: Utility or operational industry experience; digital transformation or AI experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Located in Tampa, Florida. Primarily office-based (4 days a week in the office) with occasional travel. Storm restoration support may be required.
