Construction & Maintenance Tech/Sr. Construction & Maintenance Tech

This position will be open to internal and external applicants and will close on Sunday, November 23, 2025. 

 

The Construction & Maintenance Technician position pays between $42,400 to $53,000, and the Senior Construction & Maintenance Technician position pays between $48,000 to $60,000.  Placement at any level is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate. 

 

The successful candidate must live within 30 minutes of the Farmington Service Center.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures the integrity of the pipeline system through standard industry utilized corrosion prevention techniques.
  • Ensures compliance with all Company policies and/or procedures associated with corrosion control.
  • Maintains compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
  • Conducts annual cathodic protection surveys and maintaining the appropriate records/documentation.
  • Performs in-depth tests and analysis of areas with pipe to soil potentials that do not meet established criteria

Senior Level: Entry Level Duties Plus Additional Responsibilities

 

Successful Candidate Must Have:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • 1-3 years of work experience related to the Duties & Responsibilities of this position
  • Sr. Corrosion Tech: 3+ years of work experience in cathodic protection

 

Working Conditions:
Field environment, and may be required to work overtime/on call/emergency response/various job sites/extended periods. Required to walk, sit, stand up to 2/3 of the time and have manual dexterity. Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.
