Project Manager, Facilities

The Project Manager position pays between $96,000 to $120,000, and is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor all planning, engineering, procurement, and construction of multiple construction projects.
- Develp project cost estimates and manage expenditures throught the life of the project.
- Initiate and manage all contractual requirements for design, engineering, equipment and contractors for all assigned projects.
- Manage project communications to include identifying project stakeholders, resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fasion and understanding how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Ensure accurate project reporting on cost, schedule, status, and critical items which may materially affect project performance or department or company operations.
- Effectively manage project work activities of team members, contracted resources, or others, as assigned, in a manner that supports the project scope, company and department goals and standards.
Successful Candidate Must Have
- A Bachelor's degree in building construction, Engineering, or Business
- A valid driver's license
- 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of direct work experience may be considered.
- Preferences: General Contractor's License, Professional Engineer License, PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Managemnt), Proficient in MS Excel, Must be comfortable in creating/writing project status reports shared with Senior Leadership
Working Conditions
May be required to work extended hours during evenings and weekends as needed. Some in-state out-of-town travel may be required. Handles multiple duties and responsibilities and is accountable for related actions. Field work in a construction environment required.
