This position pays between $78,640.00 to $98,300.00 and is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Coordinates security of the company's facilities/property and people (employees, vendors, contractors, shippers, and visitors). Assists with the development and implementation of programs and procedures to address potential criminal activity at company facilities, including loss by theft, burglary, robbery, fraud, vandalism, environmental dumping, etc. Assists with the planning and development of training, seminars, and classes. Conducts personal safety seminars to proactively respond to these activities.
- Provides support to the Human Resources and Legal Departments and assists in internal and contractor investigation, and acts as company liaison with outside investigators. Gathers and evaluates intelligence information and its potential effect on the security of the company.
- Assist and Advise the Department Manager in the development and implementation of security services, including day to day operations, training, project planning and protective services.
- Assists with the security project initiation, assessment, planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight.
- Processes invoices and purchase requisitions and assists with the development of contracts and statements of work for the security and emergency management department.
Successful Candidate Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field (i.e. Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration, etc.)
- 2 years of direct work experience
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of similar work experience may be considered
- A valid driver’s license
- Preference: experience with security protection devices, such as CCTV, intrusion alarms and/or access control.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Office work. Regular travel throughout the state of NM required to conduct field visits; Out-of-town overnight stays may be required for emergencies, project initiation and completion; Subject to security calls and call-out 24/7.
