The Admin, Gas Supply Scheduler position pays between $63,440 and $79,300. Placement in any level is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Administers and maintains all gas purchases, sales, hedging, and storage contracts. Maintain existing agreements for changes, updates, and terminations.
- Maintain the Gas Management System from contract creation through the billing and closing process.
- Coordinates internal communication of gas purchases to gas management and other internal departments.
- Coordinates with internal and external personnel for verification and reconciliation of natural gas invoices including billing verification of quantities and prices. Resolves invoice/billing discrepancies. Verifies and reconciles natural gas volumes nominated on interstate pipelines for system supply and transportation.
- Monitors storage injection and withdrawal rights, maintains inventory balances for system supply, and revenue opportunities.
- Performs daily scheduling of natural gas necessary to meet the requirements of the Company’s transmission and distribution. Nominates, schedules, and confirms supplies for system supply and transportation customers’ nominations on and off NMGC’s natural gas pipelines on a daily and monthly basis.
- Performs volume settlement activities such as: Reconciling Operational Balancing Agreements and Pipeline Invoices. Processes Imbalance Statements, Prior Period Adjustments, Access Forms, Tier Imbalance and Transportation Amendments.
- Performs daily monitoring and responses to upstream pipeline’s notices such as: maintenance, operational flow orders, and alert days.
- Maintains knowledge of interstate pipeline systems to schedule, confirm, and monitor upstream pipeline information.
- Maintains SOX compliance and reporting requirements.
Successful Candidate Must Have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree additional experience may be considered.
- 2 years of work experience performing the Duties & Responsibilities of this or similar position.
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Preferences: Direct work experience (in gas or electric operations, purchasing, gas scheduling and administration, or planning). MS-Excel certificate or training proficiency certificate
Working Conditions
Work schedule will be based on Full-Time and shift work including Rotating evening on call/weekend On-Call 12-hr shift. Scheduled hours that may change from time to time. May be required to travel inside and outside of state.
