Tampa Electric Company, System Analyst Consultant, Tampa, FL. Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts or Business Partners to develop, create, and modify software specifications. Select and implement software packages requiring in-depth configuration and integration for concurrent projects. Drive interaction with vendor resources. Integrate software applications with interfaces based on specifications provided. Provide support for software applications classified as niche, core, or mission-critical. Coordinate software maintenance activities, including software release schedules for functional areas. Support the request and analysis phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by producing required documentation and estimates. Design, develop, and implement SLDC phases by producing the prescribed deliverables. Demonstrate technical knowledge. Develop and drive standard practices within the team. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Microsoft Azure Cloud Development, including creating Azure functions, Application Programming Interface (API) Management, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Service Bus, and Key Vault; Azure DevOps development and integration using .Net Core, Restful services, Web API, ASP.NET MVC 5, or HTML 5; Creating Interfacing working with Multiple vendors, including Kubra-EZPAY and Egain Knowledge Management, Egain Virtual Assistant, and Blue Prism RPA; Utilizing database technologies, including CosmosDB and SQL Server; Data technologies, including Entity Framework, LINQ, SSIS, and SSRS; Utilizing integrated development environment (IDE) software, including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Resharper, JIRA, and Confluence; and Automating and integrating testing into the software development process using continuous integration and build pipelines.
Telecommuting permitted up to 60% of the time.
