POSITION CONCEPT:
A process and data-driven Manager to lead supply chain process excellence, continuous improvement and governance. This position will focus on the delivery of Source to Pay (S2P) process improvement projects across TECO’s Supply Chain organization (all subsidiaries). The role requires building strong cross-functional working relationships with stakeholders at all levels across supply management, IT, operations, legal, and finance teams who support TECO’s supply chain processes. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills are crucial, as is the ability to synthesize complex issues, drive desired outcomes, and influence stakeholders across functions inside and outside TECO.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and effectiveness of TECO’s supply chain teams and processes
- Independently lead multiple projects simultaneously to include Vendor Registration and onboarding, Sourcing Projects, Vendor Invoicing Portal, Inventory Optimization, Warehouse Optimization, etc.
- Analyze abstract problems, identify root causes, develop solutions to complex problems, and effectively present relevant information to non-technical audiences.
- Develop, build, and effectively utilize data and reporting on supply chain KPIs to proactively identify operational risks and conduct root cause analyses.
- Apply first principles problem-solving abilities and operational supply chain experience to derive solutions to complex cross-functional challenges.
- Define and manage scope for both individual contributor projects as well as team projects of varying complexity and duration.
- Document and communicate program strategies, roadmaps as well as individual project requirements, objectives, and status updates to project stakeholders
- Own operational health for CLM tools and processes (GEP)
- Manage operation team for vendor master, travel, and card programs
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business, supply chain, operations management
Preferred: Master’s degree
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: None
Preferred: APICs, ISM, PMP
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Minimum of 6 years of direct work experience performing the Duties and Responsibilities of this position is required.
Preferred:
- 7 - 10 years of project or program management experience delivering complex cross-functional projects
- 5+ years of strategic and operational supply chain experience in the energy industry and familiarity with complex services
- Extensive experience leading supply chain process improvement, strategic initiatives, and/or compliance projects
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to find and utilize relevant data to improve business processes and workflows
- Expert level experience with SAP
SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE:
Required: Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing a team
Preferred: 5 years’ experience managing a team
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Required: Intellectual curiosity, self-motivated, strong problem-solving skills, tenacious and resilient; Familiar with system development processes; Familiar with reporting tools and development; Supply Chain, Finance and Work Planning Process familiarity in an SAP environment.
