Reporting to the Sr Manager, Human Resources, the Manager, Talent Acquisition will champion initiatives and support the transformation of the team from recruiters into talent acquisition experts. The successful candidate will partner with business leaders to understand business requirements and lead the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and processes to ensure Peoples Gas /TECO Partners is able to tap into and attract the best and most diverse pools of talent to support current and future business needs.


More specifically, the Manager Talent Acquisition will:

  • Oversee large scale recruitment initiatives, provide professional and executive sourcing for hard to fill roles
  • Advise on recruitment tactics and build strategic partnerships with educational institutions and industry partners
  • Leverage SuccessFactors and analytics to increase efficiency and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Plan and execute employer brand strategies and enhance the candidate experience
  • Manage compliance for Affirmative action and NERC-CIP 4 requirements for team members and contractors


Competencies, Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • 6+ years of related experience including 2 years in a recruiting leadership role, experience in a unionized environment would be considered an asset;
  • Previous experience in staffing industry and in-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and employer branding strategies;
  • 3+ years of team leadership is ideal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal, team building skills;
  • Strong oral and written communications skills, with the ability to express and exchange ideas, effectively conduct presentations and build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners;
  • Knowledge of OFCCP regulations and proficiency in SAP/Success Factor recruitment module is preferred;
  • Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of some of the requirements


  • Society of Human Resources Manager (SHRM) Certification or MS/MA/MBA.
