This position pays between $108,109.00 to $144,145.00 and is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.

 

 

This role leads the design, enablement and operational integrity of TECO’s SAP CRB and associated technologies environment to support optimization of business processes and creation of sustainable value for stakeholders. The Manager fosters a highly collaborative environment with key stakeholders to identify, assess and recommend solutions to complex business problems taking into consideration many driving factors. This role requires a seasoned, motivational leader that manages a group of diverse and solid technical resources made up of employees, contract and consulting resources, and managed service providers as a seamless, high performing delivery unit. This includes responsibility for resource management, staff augmentation, vendor relationships, and contract management.  The Manager ensures there is adequate 24 X 7 resources available to support all applications and associated technologies in the CRB environment. This role provides oversight of the project portfolio and is accountable for the evolution and delivery of the overall SAP CRB solution and associated technology systems.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Support development of the CRB technology strategy program. Work with key business partners to plan, manage overall coordination of IT projects, from planning through implementation.  Set project scope, priorities, deadlines and deliverable schedules. Facilitate discussions and consensus among various project stakeholders such as key business users, project sponsors, and leadership.
  • Manage process optimization for SAP CRB and associated technology solutions. Analyzes and develops functional/technical specifications and collaborate with technical team in order to develop the required solutions, configure and customize functionalities ensuring an optimal integration between systems.
  • Plan and deliver end-to-end solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes.  Maintains close relationships with key users and process owners for support and determining opportunities to automate processes and functions. Provides leadership for evaluation and recommendation of new technologies and coordinates deployment of new or upgraded solutions. Partners effectively will all business functions, IT and third-party partners facilitating alignment between parties to optimally achieve the desired business results.
  • Responsible for the design, development, configuration, security, testing, training, deployment, system administration, documentation, governance, stabilization, integrity and ongoing management of TECO’s SAP CRB solution to achieve the defined business goals.
  • Effectively manage change requests and incidents.  Analyze the root cause of system interruptions or failures and deploy corrective actions.
  • Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive and customized CRB related training programs tailored to the unique needs of TECO employees. Develops documentation (policies, how-to’s, working instructions, guidelines, etc.) to ensure efficient daily operations and effective system maintenance.
  • Communicate overall CoE (Center of Excellence) strategy and guidance to business partners to assist in identifying needed CoE support, project prioritization, expenditures and funding while establishing IT deliverables, objectives and managing expectations.  Provide leadership in establishing IT deliverables.
  • Assign projects, tasks, and support responsibilities to functional and technical personnel ensuring appropriate levels of support, optimum performance and achievement of IT and department goals and provide direction to staff.  Oversees projects to ensure resource utilization and achievement of objectives for cost, quality and timeliness.
  • Actively seek opportunities to optimize the use of CRB in support of business goals and provide innovative ideas.  Maintain a high level of awareness of current and future information technologies and IT best practices. 
  • Ensure adherence to all internal/external audit and SOX and other IT controls.
  • Participate in the preparation and management of department operating and capital budgets.  Forecast and manage expenditures within approved budget guidelines.

     

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Required:          Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Technology, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required.

Preferred:          Advanced degree in Business Administration or related technology field desired. 

 

Licenses/Certifications

Required:          ITIL Foundation certification (at hire or within 6 months in position).

Preferred:          Certifications in specific job-related disciplines. 

 

Related Experience

Required:          5 years progressive responsibility within business, information systems or information management/analysis environment with five to seven years’ experience with SAP CRB IT support and/or projects.

 

Supervisory Experience

Required:           Minimum of five (5) years direct supervisory experience, leading high-performance teams

Required:         

  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced changing environment with good time-management and multi-tasking skills. 
  • Ability to react under pressure to any given situation that may arise, in a professional manner and with positive results, in support of a multi-location, 24 x 7 environment.
  • Serve as the key CRB functional expert by displaying a deep and comprehensive knowledge of functional business processes and a comprehensive knowledge of SAP applications, technical architecture, development technologies, configuration, integration, testing, deployment and related tools that support those processes.
  • Stays current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies; leads application of new technologies.
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment. Experience leading high performing teams and remaining focused through change. Ability to lead teams in support of business process analysis efforts and educating others in the proper application of tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment through strong collaboration with other IT and business teams.
  • Expert verbal, written, organizational, analytical and presentation skills and the ability to deliver at all levels of the organization. 
  • Proficient knowledge of defined business processes.  Working knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies. 
  • Understands project plans and can clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines.  Understanding of the components of running a fiscally successful project
  • Demonstrated proficiency at assessing the proposed project plans to ensure all needs are met.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office and other business suite software. Proficient with Microsoft Project.
  • Drives continuous process improvement for SDLC, maintenance, application support, and Information Technology architecture.

 

Preferred:

Preferred experience in other SAP solutions such as SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud Platform, S4/HANA
