POSITION CONCEPT

The primary focus of the Coordinator Marketing Services will center around the profitability and performance of Peoples Gas natural gas retention, added load, and new customer programs. Responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders to help maintain expectations and understand performance.

Also responsible for the development, coordination, and tracking of marketing initiatives in support of Peoples Gas, TECO Partners and special projects as assigned. Identifies, tracks, analyzes and reports marketing performance analytics to develop future marketing and communications strategies.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research, develop, implement, manage, and track integrated marketing communications strategies, tactics, and budgets in support of identified company and individual performance goals, including mass advertising, targeted marketing programs, and specialized promotions. 
  • Coordinates the development, planning and implementation of social/digital initiatives and programs while maintaining brand voice and ensuring clear and consistent messaging; including strong cross-functional brand and influencer partnerships to increase brand equity, perceived product value and sales conversions. Serve as a content producer that develops digital articles, vlogs, and social media posts to inform, inspire, and engage audiences.
  • Identify, track, analyze, and report marketing performance, usage analytics and general market research to identify trends and apply data stories to develop future marketing strategies.
  • Participate in the conceptualization, design, implementation and marketing of new energy-related programs (i.e. home service warranties, equipment leasing, bill payment plans, etc.) and market opportunities for residential and commercial customer segments and distribution channel partners.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education & Licenses/Certifications

Required:

  • Associates degree from an accredited institution in accordance with TECO Emera’s policy.
  • Must maintain valid Florida driver’s license..

Preferred: 

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a related field from an accredited institution in accordance with TECO Emera’s policy.  
  • Professional certifications related to this position.

 

Experience

Required:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of marketing or advertising work experience in the following areas of concentration: mass and targeted advertising, social media marketing, program development, or copywriting.

Preferred:

  • Four (4) years of data-driven marketing experience including campaign performance for both customer conversion and retention. Two years of experience with marketing products and services to commercial and residential markets. 

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Required:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite using Access, Excel, and Word.
  • Expertise in social media marketing specifically utilizing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent oral and presentation skills required.
  • Ability in reporting research results and interpreting customer needs.
  • Knowledge of process improvement.
  • Basic understanding of general financial feasibility of programs and services.

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of SAP, Infor, PowerBI and how to segment customers and apply predictive analytics to support customer acquisition and retention strategies.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Some travel required in-state. Extreme fast-paced environment with high expectations for success.  Occasional evening or weekend work to complete projects with deadlines.
  • Physical ability to safely lift, carry and maneuver display exhibit materials, etc., while setting up for tradeshows and other industry events.
