Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, loading, and unloading trucks, and performing cycle counts.  Receive, store and issue tools, materials, and equipment while maintaining the warehouse and tool room in a safe and orderly fashion.  Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures.  Know and follow all “Safe Work Practices”.



• Receive, store, ship, load/unload, return, issue, and transfer materials and maintain associated electronic records of transactions using inventory system, applications and products, work management and other data management programs.
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on environmental factors and physical design of the warehouse and tool room facilities.
• Receive, issue, return and maintain records of hand and machine tools and equipment.
• Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking, cycle counting, and updating inventory system utilizing wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory and tools.
• Maintain, track, and schedule required certifications, inspections, grounding requirements, and load testing as needed for tool room equipment.


Required: Valid High School Diploma or valid GED 
Preferred: Associate degree/Certification in Inventory Management from an ABET-accredited institution.


Required: Must hold and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license
Preferred: Certified forklift operator   


Required: Minimum of 4 years of equivalent material handler experience, including a minimum of 1 year of operating one or more powered forklifts: high lift trucks, counter balanced trucks, rider trucks, high lift platform trucks, pallet trucks, narrow aisle rider truck, reach rider trucks 
Preferred: Experience handling materials related to an industrial or construction project


• Must be organized and have ability to complete an accurate count of items received
• Must have good communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively
• Must be familiar with basic computer operations

• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
• SAP experience
• Workman experience
• ToolHound 


• Primarily 40 hours per week hourly position.  Occasional overtime may be required. 
• Work is performed on an industrial site and may be exposed to loud noise, moving equipment, dust, heat, and cold and be in proximity to high voltages and currents. 
• Conditions will require employee to wear safety equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.


Physically able to perform warehouse work to include:
• Lift 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, sit, lift on a regular basis
• Use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools
• Work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work on platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
