This position typically pays between $60,014.00 to $75,018.00 and is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.




The Supervisor, Inside Sales is responsible for providing exemplary leadership, supervision and consistency for the TECO Partners Inside Sales team.  Also, responsible for accomplishing profit and return on investment goals.  Assists the Regional Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies and goals for the Inside Sales team.  The Supervisor also plans, organizes, develops and supervises activities to accomplish team and company goals and to optimize utilization of resources.



  • Responsible for the management of training, safety, development and performance evaluations for Inside Sales team members.
  • Responsible for the management of the departments revenue and O&M budget.
  • Assists Regional Sales Manager in development of sales strategies and procedures for Inside Sales. Implements the strategies and procedures.
  • Coach Inside Sales staff as to the presentation and closing of sale for TECO Partners products and services.
  • Maintains and reviews organization and staffing plan to ensure they are consistent with Inside Sales objectives.
  • Maintains an efficient, highly motivated Inside Sales team, which is committed to fulfilling the mission and achieving the goals of both the region and the company.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.








A valid high school diploma or valid GED.   



Associate or Bachelor Degree from a regionally accredited school in accordance with TECO Education Policy.






Minimum of 2 years of work experience related to the Duties and Responsibilities of this position; including at least 1 year of experience in a leadership, team lead or supervisory role.



  • Sales, marketing or customer service lead experience in a utility environment.   
  • A minimum of 2 years in a lead role, preferably in front facing sales/customer service capacity, and/or fast paced call center.
  • Natural gas utility experience is a plus.  



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA)



  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. 
  • Extremely organized, high energy, and ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment. 
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.



Knowledge of residential, commercial and industrial Natural Gas customers and TECO Partners marketing and rebate programs.

Work will primarily be performed in an office environment.  Some travel may be required.
