This position pays between $101,440.00 to $126,800.00 and is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.

POSITION CONCEPT 

The Change Management Lead will play a key role in ensuring Company projects meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee awareness, understanding and ownership. Focus is on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job responsibilities and organization structure. The primary responsibility will be leading awareness, understanding and ownership and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption. The Change Management Lead will work closely with the project and business communications teams, and the System Integrator on all internal communications.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and manage a project plan that shapes the overall approach, implementation and sustainment of change management activities to include facilitating workshops to support change management efforts. 
  2. Assess change leadership requirements for the project, and ensure the appropriate engagement tactics, training plans and communication plans are in place to achieve success. 
  3. Coach and train project leaders on change fundamentals, frameworks, tools and processes to advance people and change throughout the project. Engage project team members in designing, development, and deploying change management tactics. 
  4. Leadership and oversight of the change management assessments and develop plans to address identified areas of opportunity. Manage project risk and interdependencies using the standard PMO processes applicable to change management. 
  5. Coordinate internal communications associated with the project to ensure key messages are delivered, updated and repeated. 
  6. Lead a team of consultants and employees to deliver on the change management strategy. 
  7. Manage stakeholder relationships and balance competing project requirements from a change standpoint. Provide leadership and oversight to all project related training activities.

 

SUPERVISION
Responsible to oversee the Change Management team of professionals responsible for change
management, communications, training, engagement and resistance management, as well as Lead the 
Change Ambassadors to instill the change. This team includes both internal and external resources. 

RELATIONSHIPS
Key Internal: All levels of management regulatory, legal, human resources, communications, corporate and regional departments, operations, and customer service organizations.
Key External: Customers, contractors, vendors and industry associations. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS
Education  
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications or equivalent from an accredited college/university.
Preferred: Prosci certification or certification and training in another recognized change management program; Adult Learning certification; Project Management (PMP) certification. 

 

Experience
Required: Minimum of 10 years’ change management related experience, human resources, organizational development, process management, communications or project management or equivalent, including a minimum of 5 years of change management and/or project/program management experience; Experience must consist of leading and managing large change management initiatives, large/complex projects, developing strategy and business plans, developing and managing budgets. Experience with process mapping/process improvement initiatives.  
 

Preferred: Minimum of 7 years’ experience working on large transformation projects, leading related change activities.  A passion for working within and supporting change management initiatives.  Proven track record in implementing organizational change management – minimum one program life cycle in a Change Lead role (including: change impact assessments, role mapping, training, communication, business readiness, team effectiveness and leadership alignment).  
 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA)
Required: A solid understanding of the people side of change.  Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.  Strong project management skill set and ability to collaborate at all levels across the organization.  Experience with technology project implementation and delivery. Proven leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to get things done while managing various stakeholders. Team player with a proven track record for the ability to work collaboratively with others in the organization and provide coaching to achieve results. Experienced people leader and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and solid presentation skills. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook) and SharePoint.
Preferred: Strong business acumen.  Ability to coach, counsel and guide across all levels of the company.  Ability to anticipate the long-term impact of all decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving. Ability to coach and develop junior team members.  Ability to build, develop and lead a diverse group of people creating a high performing team.

Physical ability to safely lift, carry and maneuver heavy boxes, display panels, etc. supporting company participation at company meetings, roadshows and other industry events.
